White (composite) fillings are used to repair a decayed tooth. They are similar to standard Amalgam fillings (metal fillings) in their function, except white fillings are made of a composite material which is metal free and they match the colour of your natural teeth which makes them invisible.
White fillings are made from the same material we use in our dental bonding treatment, except dental bonding uses the material to rebuild and reshape worn or broke teeth and can also be used to mask discolourations.
White fillings take one visit and can be easily repaired over time, so they are a very cost effective restoration.
