Air abrasion can be used for lots of dental procedures. It is one the techniques we use to remove dental decay from your teeth.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2><strong>What are the advantages?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Compared with the traditional drills, the advantages are:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Air abrasion generates no heat, pressure, or vibration.<\/li>\r\n<li>It sometimes reduces the need for anesthesia, particularly if the cavity is small.<\/li>\r\n<li>It leaves more of the healthy tooth tissue behind.<\/li>\r\n<li>In turn reduces the risk of fracturing and chipping of the tooth, which means a longer lasting filling.<\/li>\r\n<li>So, the procedure is simple, although it may take slightly longer than traditional drilling.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Air abrasion can also be used to cement restorations on teeth. Composite\/porcelain repairs, Orthodontic bracket etching, <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.dental-focus.co.uk\/bowlanedental\/preview\/services\/hygiene-cleaning\/\">Cleaning and polishing teeth<\/a> and removing tea\/tobacco staining.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We currently use the <a href=\"https:\/\/velopex.com\/product\/aquacare-twin-2\/\">Velopex<\/a>\u00a0machine.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>To find out more please call 020 7236 3600.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Like the idea of drill-free dentistry?
